ozz
http://www.aria.co.uk I've found are cheaper than all of those but I've had massive problems with their customer service so will never buy from them again. I use ebuyer for most things now. You may have more luck with aria!

Sparky
Ebuyer don't seem to have alot of the decent stock that they used to! I used scan when i bought my components, they were well priced!
Pete
Ebuyer don't seem to have alot of the decent stock that they used to! I wonder why. These types of people need to ship massive volumes as their margins are so tiny, hence why they won't keep stock due to high depreciation of IT stock. I've seen so many of these types come and go over the years as they fall in / out of favouritism. It's a mugs game, but great for the consumer. philstowell
yeah that aria has been ok for me in the past, i used to use dabs.com who were also good but a bit more pricey, hope it helps, phill
carl0s
aria.co.uk scan.co.uk and microdirect.co.uk aria don't seem to carry any laptop hard drives, scan & micro direct have more varied range, scsi disks, raid controllers etc. All have good prices. Kopite
http://www.aria.co.uk I've found are cheaper than all of those but I've had massive problems with their customer service so will never buy from them again. You may have more luck with aria! accused me of fraud and held £900 for a month etc, even my bank struggled to sort them out directly
carl0s
aria also charge me a 5% transax fee on business cheques... so I rarely go there I go to Micro Direct frequently and I've always been happy with them.
nuttynutz
cool, seems like aria, microdirect and ebuyer are the main ones. was thinking of getting the hauppauge hvr series, cant seem to work out the difference between 1100 and 1300 model or just get the 3000 not much more than the 1300. most important is that it has freeview and abililty to back up my old video casettes to dvd are there better models that fit this criteria? oh and 5.1 sound, gonna get logitech z-5500, unless theres something better between £150-200 thanks
