Harllequin
Hi guys I think I have experiance fuel cut. Car = 93 GX Induction kit first cat in place second decat 3inch stainless from first cat. Thats as much as I think has been done. I booted it today and then you would think I hit a brick wall. However after reading several posts on here I did not see any warning light. Should this have come on. As soon as the drop in power happened i backed off the throttle right away. I have a boost guage in the car and it was showing right on the 1 bar mark. Basicaly I think I hit Fuel Cut, but had no warning light. 1. Was i right with fuel cut? 2. Should I have seen a warning light. cheers in advance guys Darren

gaz1
yes the red triangle will light if you hit fuel cut, have you checked the light actualy works, it will only stay on a little while after hitting fuel cut, but enough to see it
Harllequin
yes I've seen it lit before when I didnt have the active spoiler on. Its the red triangle in the middle right?
mawby
I've hit this a couple of times in the last few weeks. When it happens I also get the engine malfunction light on (orange engine light). Does this light work on your car? I'm just guessing here, but the red triangle should only aluminate to warn you that another warning light is on. It is possible that if the other light doesn't work then maybe that will also prevent the red triangle from working.
Harllequin
ah, should it light up when i put the ignition on or anything like that? I'll go check now if it does. Harllequin
Put ignition on and no light in the shape of an engine. Adopted procedure 1 (thumped it) On came the light. Tested this with a thump or 2 and it goes off and on. Faulty bulb connection me thinks.
mawby
Yes it should. It's amoung the block of lights on the right side of the dash. It is the left hand light as can be seen in the picture in this thread. EDIT - Too slow you've found it already!
