jamesmark
Quick fix, if you see dodgy people from the window do the following:- Hold your keyfob to your head and disarm alarm from safe distance in the comforts of your own home. AndrewOW
That's not very sporting is it?! If I have any problems with my alarm going off I look through the window first, and reset the alarm from there. I then watch 'stealthily' for a bit, then go back to bed. Most of the time its a cat

No offence but considering they whacked him with bats I don't think a lightbulb is going to stop them:D.

keancy
i normally send my wife out there if its cold LOL. The spare fob lives in the bedroom upstairs with us as high winds sometimes set our alarm off. So I just open a window point and click. Sorted. Pete
This is nothing new. As above, if the security light goes on AND the alarm is going off then I'm double suspicious. It's usually followed up shortly by the sounds of meowing and a loud bang.
Matt H
I think we should have Blade style steering wheels. You know, like Blades sword, if the person holding the handle isnt blade then....swing.... no more hands left. That way, if someone did get in your car with your keys, then as they grabbed the steering wheel, it would slice there hands off. win / win situation, you dont loose your car, some tw&t isnt able to ever steel again

RedM
Blackjax anyone?
Scott
I've had blackjax on my car since i got it but it was always disabled. Its enabled now. Its such a good piece of kit the more i think about it. At first i thought it was more an american thing coz of all the car jackings but even if someone breaks into your house to steal your keys, or hit you with a bat to get them off you, they aren't going to get far Scott =op

Less messy. Is it australia that has the flame throwers? Scott =op

Most people's complaint with the sysytem is that it's too intrusive. You can't even jump out briefly without needing to redo the code. That is true but you soon learn to live with it. I wonder how much they'd complain about their car being stolen.
Scott
Yup, i could moan about it every day but if my car did get stolen and i found it 200yds away i would be kissing the bloody thing!! Scott =op

Totally agree with u mate. I know a few people who have blaxjack and have it disabled and constantly have the argument that they have to enter the code and it is annoying etc. I have it and love it as i am used to it know and had it on my last 3 cars. One of my mates evo 6 got nicked when the pricks broke into his house and took his keys but when police turned up car was around the corner with alarm blasting!
