Inferno
They are very popular here in Australia - well designed and great value for money... Some nice features too: * Factory Preset Mode provides beginners with an easy start-up option * Advanced Mode unlocks up to 6 alternate boost mapping functions suitable for FWD, RWD, AWD, Bike and Drag racing needs * Gear-based Boost Mapping – set a different boost for each gear! * Boost levels can also be mapped against TIME or RPM. * Fully programmable auxilary output controls water spray, methanol or nitrous injection against Boost or RPM * RPM Compensation Feature eliminates boost drop-off at high RPM * Peak Hold/Max Boost Recall function monitors boost and RPM. * Display can be configured to KPA, Bar or PSI * Gate Pressure function eliminates wastegate creep * e-Boost2’s display is accurate to within +/-0.5% of full scale making it an ideal Boost Gauge! * Programmable, audible warning alarm * Integrated input for optional shift/warning lights
flyby
is HKS EVC better or should i go for eboost. I really like the eboost becores the 60mm design
Inferno
It's really up to you... the eboost is more feature rich, but more Supra owners have the HKS EVC so if anything goes wrong you have a bit more support and experience with that one. steb9780
I used to use an E-boost 1 on my Coupe turbo and it was a great piece of kit, easy to setup and use. A good friend of mine has started importing Gizzmo electronics (he was the sole importer for the UK last time I spoke to him) from Oz and they seem to have a good reputuation like turbosmart. They are cheaper than all the other controllers too. They do a multi-stage controller for something like £180.
steb9780
There you go, his page on them. I am thinking of trying the black one at the bottom of the page, with the scramble boost etc. http://www.gb-ent.com/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=35&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1 They look like good value to me.
