tomgeer
I have just bought some silkolene 10w50 Pro S oil and a purolator oil filter (L10241) from opie oils. Has anyone used these on their supra's, are they any good? They were recommended by Simon from opie for a BPU supra. I thought my engine oil was looking a bit dark when I looked at the dipstick the other day so I decided I would do an oil change

Is that the right oil for a supra? planning on changing mine within the next couple of weeks
Alex C
I've used that exact combo too...so far so good.
Alex
It's probably the best oil you could choose to use Can't comment on the oil filter though. I'd use stock...they are only £9 and work perfectly.
flukey-lukey
hmmm, might order some then... I forget how many litres is needed, 6 I think. Anyone else know?
Chris and Alana
I use 5w40 proS in mine with the same filter. The filter looked really small when I got it (especially against the one I took off) but I guessed its design would allow it to filter well and still flow enough oil through it for the supra engine. Anyway I have had no bother with it and would use both again. Infact an oil change is due shortly good for the car, bad for the wallet

edge
I use that oil but prefer to stay with a toyota filter.
Alex
You have to buy the oil in 4-5L tubs so you need to order 2...

flukey-lukey
just tried to order 2 x 5L tubs and the filter, but the discount coupon for the extra 10% isn't working... so I've left it for now

Marco
I use that oil with a TRD filter, don't notice any difference compared with a stock filter. Apparently the TRD one filters better..?
