SupraStar 3000
Heading home and heard this kind if squeaking rubbing noise coming from the driverside rear. Originally my worst thought was bearings but about 2 weeks ago I heard the same sound and I'm sure its to do with the break system. Last time: I heard the sound I found a silver clip that wasnt painted red like the rest of the assembly. The callipers were pinted by myself last year and I can't understand how a clip has moved to reveal the unpainted side. Also, the breaks seemed warmer than usual. I tried moving the clip but it wouldn't budge. I don't know if I temporary solved the problem but the noise HAD stopped......until today Today: Same side and noise but can't seem to find the problem. Any ideas. My mate said it maybe an audible warning device to notify me that a pad needs replacing. damn this Supra demands alot of time and money to keep running
