Digestion (May contain talk of poo!)

I am posting on behalf of a friend...;)

Lets say for example they have been ill since Wednesday night with a really bad case of the "Brads". They havent eaten anything for a day and a half.

How quickly can your body digest food, especially if they have "Calcutta Splutter"!! My friend...;) Had lunch at 12.30 today and by 2pm they were stuck on the porcelain bus setting off a flock of pigeons!!:(

Surely your food can't go through your stomach and intestines that quick? Are there any medical types that could offer an explanation for my friend.....;)

Before anyone comments, yes this is another crap thread!!:D

Thinking about it, my friend had a prawn stir fry as he was trying to be healthy.....:( Looking back that wasn't really a good decision as prawns can be nasty.

I don't think it's what he ate tbh. He thought that the bug/virus had passed and he was therefore ok to eat again!

My friend wishes he hadn't read that....:(

BTW, your friend ;) wouldnt happened to have a friend with the sh1ts right now would he?

Yes.....how did you guess??:D My friend is currently on his laptop with a bad case of pins and needles as he can't get off the "gurgler"...

He needs to know the worst case. If you have a virus/stomach upset, just how quickly can you need the bog after eating something!

I think if your friend is all 'cleared out' already, then as the bug is present in 'his' system, then the upset will hurry the process through rather rapidly.

A couple of Imodium's should right 'him' for a while. Off to the chemist 'he' should go. That's if 'his' legs still work after being sat there for so long :)

My little girl had the norovirus just before Xmas, while stood in the chemist, she projectile vomited across the shop floor....shame they had carpet down :taped: the old dear behind the counter was not happy....what can you do....she was OK within 2 days.

Wife had for 3 days but, only the squits.

Your mate should stick to toast.
