I can't believe I missed Ashes to Ashes on Thursday:Pling:

Did anyone see it and is it at least half as good as Life on Mars?

I'm just going to check i-player to see if I can watch it on there!!

Shame the Quattro was only available in LHD in 1980 was not available in RHD until 1981 the researchers need to try harder

Yes they do! I just watched this on BBC i-player and I noticed that the Ford Granada MK2 Police car used in the shootout scene is in fact a FACELIFT model!!!!!!! The granada was not facelifted until October 1981 and this is supposed to be july 1981!!!!!

OH MY GOD :Pling:

Group buy on anoraks anyone? :D

I managed to acquire (ahem) a copy of the first episode, and it wasn't bad at all, but I did think they did a bit of a 'Hollywood' glorification of the thing. This will be a good series. Hopefully :)

haha!! I have done some research and the quattro was not officially available in the UK with RHD until 1982, the first 6 being quad lamp and the subsequent run having one piece Cibes......and Gene Hunt's Quattro is on a V-plate making it the first batch of LHD models!!!!!! plus like I have also mentioned the MK2 Granada police car is a Facelift model which was not launched until October 1981, so do I win the Prize of being the saddest member of the http://www.mkivsupra.net club?????
