I just watched this on BBC i-player and I noticed that the Ford Granada MK2 Police car used in the shootout scene is in fact a FACELIFT model!!!!!!! I have done some research and the quattro was not officially available in the UK with RHD until 1982, the first 6 being quad lamp and the subsequent run having one piece Cibes......and Gene Hunt's Quattro is on a V-plate making it the first batch of LHD models!!!!!! plus like I have also mentioned the MK2 Granada police car is a Facelift model which was not launched until October 1981, so do I win the Prize of being the saddest member of the http://www.mkivsupra.net club?????
