Jake
No not me, my Mrs! I needed the estate car today so she drove the grey Supra to work and got pulled by the police for having no front number plate. Bloody typical isn't it? I've had no front plate on that car since Aug 2003. She takes it to work one time and gets pulled. I'm in for some grief when I get home tonight. She's been nagging me about putting a plate on it for ages. I guess I'm in for the "I told you so" speech. Luckily for me they let her off, no producer or anything. Dale B
What would have happened if you had carried the plate in the car and said that it had just dropped off and was getting it fixed?

Jake
What would have happened if you had carried the plate in the car and said that it had just dropped off and was getting it fixed?I don't know. Actually the plate is in the car, it's in the boot. I've told her to put it on the dash if she's worried about getting pulled at lunchtime on on the way home tonight. Jake
Actually, I emailed her at work and asked why she thought the copper let her off. She said: "I think the blow job helped!"

LeeT
i had the same thing last weekend. the copper pulled me over and said that he thought the car might be stolen as it had no front plate. i just said the car looks better without it and i usually have it in the window. all he said was 'be careful as some traffic cops would love to fine you big money for that'.then went on his way. and i was going 90+ on a dual carriageway when he pulled me
SupraChick
you could try saying that you was driving under motorbike regulations, generally they go that quick who gets a chance to see a front plate anyway !
Markie
I dont understand this.. Do motorbikes just get away with this then? As they harped on to me about the mobile cameras not being able to see my small plate to catch me speeding (Talking crap!) .. So how the hell do they catch motorbikes who dont have ANY front plate at all, and most have only a tiny plate on the rear.. Its all bollo*ks!
