fri3ndly
Has anyone used one of these before: http://sg.88db.com/sg/Services/Post_Detail.page/automotive/Spare_Accessories/?PostID=93436 I need to jack my car up, but the skirts are too low for a normal 2 tonne jack. The only other option is a garage ramp. Has anyone used one of these? And how do you all jack your car up if you have low skirts?
merckx
The stock scissor jack used to work fine with the Toyota skirts. I now use a spare scissor jack that I had for the van, it's very strong. Sometimes I just drive up onto a couple of 2" planks and then use the trolley jack under the front subframe or the diff.
SimonB
Machinemart do a very nice aluminium trolley jack that's very low. Not cheap but it's really nice... http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/ctj1250a-11-4-tonne-aluminium-trolley-jack
