fri3ndly
I was just turning around in my girlfriends drive and started to drive off down the road 1 mile to my house. It felt really bad, like the tracking was way out and I could hear something from the nearside wheel so I pulled over and it looked like the tyre was flat and had started to come off the alloy. I only had a short distance to go so just drove home really really slowly but now this is what they tyre looks: (below). How can the tyre have just come off like this? It doesnt look like it is punctured either. Its scuffed my alloy up a treat.
Jake
It felt bad because it was flat. It came off the rim because you continued to drive on it flat. It's fooked now and the wheel probably is too.
Dr_Doom
The tyre came off the wheel because there was no air in it to hold it on! Did the handling not seem bumpier than normal?
Guest Quail
Tyres definitely aren't fit and forget items unfortunately

Guest Garfy
I had something similar happen at goodwood a few years back, I think as I went up onto one of the aluminium roads ways the tyres got pushed of the rim enough to let all the air out, because as soon as i noticed I pulled over, put the spare on, then went to the nearest garage, put some wind back in the tyre and it was fine, never went down again. So, does your Girlfriends drive have anything that may have pushed the tyre of the rim?
