That would provide some entertainment and another way to pay for hiring the venue. I personally think all spaces should go to Supra's first this year... (and club members) I think after last year there will be a lot more participants. I for one ran last year but after so many runs I know most of the guys i went along with would definatley want to sign up to run this time. If 1 to 2 months before not all places have gone then open it up to other clubs? I'll be coming along, but won't be on the track, as I'm not really in to drag racing (only kidding!) what would be useful this year is to have everyone submit their spec if we're doing classes/trophies this year - I'm happy to co-ordinate that if no-one else wants to Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A friend of mine is a member of the mr2oc.co.uk club, which I know has been mentioned on here already, and he really wants to have a go. Also, you say only 75 runners (drivers... whatever), who are the 75? There are already 73 in the list and I'm assuming that doesn't include the mr2 forum. I emailed the MR2OC people (via the only contact I could find listed on their web site) and never got a reply so I was sort of sitting back to see how many names we can get together on this. If we can run mostly Supras with a few special guests including MR2s then that might be cool. We have a fair bit of time on this so not rushing to get the MR2OC on board if they arent interested. With 5 months to go Im just starting the organising now, so do keep adding your interest in to this thread. It looks like its staying Suprapod as the MR2 crowd never came back to me. I prefer not to see all supras on the day so there will be space in the pits and on the track for special cars. We are also looking at organising head to heads to allow good friends to show each other who really is the quickest.. We will also be looking for traders to subsidise things like last time so do please let me know if interested. You will need to be a registered trader on the forum to be able to do that.
