Muffleman
Wasn't sure whether to post this in Supra chat or technical, so mods feel free to move if needed But I would appreciate technical input into this. I have been discussing the possibility of manufacturing my own exhaust manifolds here in the UK, in fact onsite. The expertise is clearly here so why not make use. I did start looking at a manifold akin to the HKS but a bit cheaper, but I am now thinking more along the lines of a Full Race type manifold. Will probably return to the mid-price option too, but for now I'm looking at the dogs danglies of manifolds. These will be properly made with grade 304 stainless, stainless flanges etc. I also want to add an EGT sensor location in the 6th runner so that EGTs can be monitored before the turbo. One in each runner is possible but would be special order. Any thoughts ? It would have to be in the region of £1200 but this is a serious manifold, with quality on a par with Full Race. Ian C
Any thoughts ? It would have to be in the region of £1200 Don't expect to sell many Too many people love the ebay longtime as it's a) cheap, b) not very expensive, and c) a low price, thus fulfilling all three criteria for their part selection -Ian
JustGav
Matt... if you can get a manifold outline, I can CAD it up for you... and buy a TIG welder (Ben and I don't have one *8-) )
Gaz6002
I'll be watching this with interest. Loving the ideas posted so far...
Jake
I'd be more interested in a good cast manifold that can accommodate a reasonable size WG - there's already a wide choice of tubular ones.

Problem is, quality costs This is one of many ideas floating around in my tiny little head at the mo, there will be others Matt... if you can get a manifold outline, I can CAD it up for you... and buy a TIG welder (Ben and I don't have one *8-) ) Cool, ta Already got a TIG here. Sean1933
Personally i think your 1st idea is a better one, atleast on the grounds of demand anyway. A HKS/BL style manifold at a midway price would no doubt be in great demand, as would a high flowing cast manifold. Then again, i like the idea of developing a PRODUCTION manifold to support progressive sequential tubbies
