"Turned out nice again"

Recommended Posts

I didn't get up until late as I had the blinds closed and hence no daylight coming in but once I did, I opened them to find glorious sunshine.

A spot of breakfast and then I decided on a bike ride to do around 20k along the coast road to Kos Town and back. I donned my Welsh rugby shirt (that's the team that beat England on Saturday) and my shorts and set off.

All the way along, the sea was breaking along the shore, the breeze was gently blowing in my face and the sun was shining on my bonce (it is about 65 degrees F today). People would glance up from the fields to wave hello and cars would pass and toot their horns and wave too.

I stopped in Kos Town at the new marina and had a coffee whilst looking at the wonderful boats moored there and also across to Turkey which is only about 10k away.

It is days like this that remind me once again why I wanted to come out here to live. :D

I fly to Spain in a few hours for a weeks golf, cant wait

You may have a point there as technically, it is still winter here and the Greeks still wear big thick jumpers even on days like today. :D

Well CJ, I stood freezing on the Train platform at 06:00 this morning.

Sat in a carrage full of coughing people, then had to endure the Tube AND DLR to get to work this morning..

So there.... :p

I so envy you....erm....NOT! :D

At around 80 sq metres my apartment is not huge but easily big enough for me and guests. It has a large lounge, a fully fitted kitchen, a massive bedroom with 3 built in double wardrobes and a big bathroom with a bath, shower unit, and fancy vanity unit thing.

I have a patio area that goes all the way along the one side of the house and that catches the sun from 10 until late evening during the summer. :)
