Soonto_HAS_soop
What boost are you running? If it is above standard then maybe it could be plugs, or maybe fuel pump. Need your spec listed to give a possible remedy.
gaz1
no idea to be honest just got it had air induction kit fitted and exaust and now just learning no boost gauge in it
Soonto_HAS_soop
Do you have a Decat? First thing you should be thinking of getting is a boost gauge, to see what you are running on the tubbies. If it has had a Decat, then it may be boosting to the limit of your spark plugs, or it could be something fuel related. Are you sure it has no other mods done to it? dude
Get it checked dude , i get surprised when i chuck a boost guage on cars and see what they are running , odds on its gonna be plugs , if it feels like someones turned the ign off its fuel cut , if a garage steam clened the motor then dont go back !!!!! RAB Jeez this is testing the old memory, when i bought the car i got them to change the exhaust they also took the cats out but never fitted a restrictor ring, it blew a piston shortly after this thread
L33
this sounds like the start of when my car blew up. does it really restrict and wont go over 4 k and feels juddery? mine done this a couple times, then melted all the spark plugs so had no tips, sent bits into my engine and blew a piston up!! full rebuild. the cause of the problem was never discovered but something majorly went wrong i wouldt drive it much more TBH, whip the plus out and check for damage. something might be wrong about to go so i would book it in if i were you
Suprab1
Ah hope its not gonna blow:( it revs up good from take off but if i drop a gear and floar it in 3rd or 4rth it revs then gives a little splutter then goes again perfect. Also has exhaust still has 1 cat, fmic, induction kit , blitz bov and hks bov think thats it Edited December 5, 2009 by Suprab1 (see edit history)
