Steve
It sits behind the IACV Valve towards the back of the plenum Edit: You will need to remove the valve as it sits between this and the plenum.

Tricky-Ricky
Doesn't look like the IACV bit that mine has, its in two pieces a plastic spacer and a one way valve made of metal with a rubber flap valve.

colsoop
That is a little filter that sits inside one of those little black pots on the throttle body. The part that smooths the closing of the butterfly. The cap just puls off to reveal the part you have there.

colsoop
so could this cause idle problems if it was missing Nope, not unless the part Rob has in his pic was missing too. The part DannoSupra highlighted could cause idle issues though.
123tom123tom
yes it sits inside the pic rob has posted cheers guys, great advise, i would have never guessed where that came from. what part on th engine gives the car a steady idle at low revs, mine when slowing down, the revs drop obviously, but mine kind of gets confused, it jumps about like it is trying to cut, if i put it in neutral it seems to find itself kind of, but the car is idling about 500rpm... how do i pick this up to 700....
