johnd-mkiv
After selling my supra I bought an R34 skyline a car I have always wanted, but after 3 months the novelty had worn off and I missed my supra. I was after a car that I could still tinker about with, then I see Neilg's car come up forsale. Got the train up to Yorkshire yesterday and met him along with Andy Hannah Got the tour of his new work shop (very jelouse) along with his new dyno pack Andy managed to get me an mot from his dad then the deal was done for the car. The car has all the right bits I was looking for, but needs a fair bit of work doing to it to make it 100% 1993 6 speed jap spec Powerhouse racing stage 1 turbo kit: GT60 Polished Turbo HKS tubular header HKS GT Wastegate 4" K&N Filter Upgraded 3 1/2 downpipe Stainless hoses etc Power enterprise timing belt Powerhouse racing stage 1 fuel kit: RHR Fuel Rail Twin walbro Fuel Pumps Aeromotive EFI fuel pressure regulator Pressure gauge Siemmens 720 injectors Apex-i Power fc ecu including hand controller HKS Titanium 4" Exhaust Greddy FMIC Stainless Front radiator pipe Racelogic Traction control with Launch TRD Front strut brace Exterior 19" Racing Hart CR wheels 10" Rears with Bridgestone Potenza RE050 285 30 19 tyres 8.5" fronts with 255 35 19 tyres UK glass headlights later spec rear tail lights Do-Luck Front bumper Veilside Rear spats Standard Skirts Tein Super street adjustable suspension Full UK Brakes with brembo drilled disks and CW Pads, Braided lines Interior: Pioneer Headunit Momo Steering wheel Veilside gearnob Stainless 200mph speedo cluster TRD Front strut brace Cusco rear strut brace Racelogic controller Theres a few jobs that need doing to it im going to make a start tomorrow and post up pics as an on going project. johnd-mkiv
That's great news John, she looks fantastic, congratulations So what are the plans to get her 100%? Front bumper is cracked need to reinforce it then have it painted along with a few other little bits on the car. power steering pump is wining, need to strip that down. exhaust needs a bracket making to stop it bashing the rear bumper. The gear box is very clunky and it wines need to strip it and find the problem there then refit with a nice twin plate clutch New set of seats will have a look round the salvage yards for something light weight and sporty. dye the carpet black new car mats Oil and filter change and fit a 16 row oil cooler Fluidine rad Get the guages plumbed in and buy some more so I can keep an eye on things. Need to buy a boost controller fit that then have the car mapped poss looking into getting some cams before its mapped. should keep me busy:D
