A nice layer here when I woke up - enough for people to be out building snowmen, sledging etc. I was really gutted this morning. Woke up in Menston (High Royds to be exact) to find a thick covering.... the moment I got on the main road it was totally clear (I love snow) Drove all the way to Collingham without a problem. BEERSHZ Posted February 2, 2008 Share Posted February 2, 2008 drove home in a blizzard last night from work , indicator and window wiper fuses blew was a bit hairy, was gone again by lunchtime today in town but just got home from work and my road and drive is still like a sheet of ice. paul mac Posted February 2, 2008 Share Posted February 2, 2008 cr*pped myself today, went to pick up some bits for the car from Barnoldswick via Yorkshire and the Penines and thought i would take the "scenic" route back (like a muppet) over the Trough of Bowland, saw two abandoned smashed up cars, anyone who knows this part of the world will appeciate its not the place to go over the edge...........still i was in the wifes car so it could of been worse:d very scary Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
