Horror movies

I thought hard about this, I really did. I cant think of a film that has really scared me except 'The Stone Tape' ('70s BBC effort) and 'Oh, Whistle, and I'll Come to You, My Lad' by M R James, directed by Jonathan Miller.

Theres a few that have made me jump, but these two are very good at getting your imagination running.

Won't bother with buying 1408 then! Added 'Candyman' now, seem to remember that being scary when I watched it years ago lol

 

Yes it maybe was, years ago but it ain't now. It is a bit like the Chucky/Elm Street movies, they scared you years ago but now they don't even make you jump.

I love the remake so I'll check it out :)

 

I don't think you'll be disapointed, it has a totally different feel to the remake.

 

Same goes for one of my favourites, the original 'Texas Chain Saw Massacre'. You never really see anything, and that's always been the trick which seems lost on so many film makers these days.
