Matt H
Bought this for the PS3 last night, only got a quick go but they have removed the "crash for cash junctions" absolutely gutted, was the best bit about burn out. Graphics are great. Holding out judgement until i've played it a bit more but seems to be a need for speed copy withuot the serious modifying. Not holding out much, and at £45 it aint cheap. Oh but the intro is amazing, its like a virtual sales pitch for the games setting, Paradise city. Kind of like the futuristic adverts you get in futuristic type films on street bill boards in the movies very appealing, really makes you want to play. I'd leave it at that before you jump in a get a little disappointed. Anybody else bought this game? any opinions?
Whitesupraboy2
The xbox 360 definatly has the big crashes in it. Where you boost the cash up and they have cleverly made it better, you can use your boost to jump your car in to others. You may need to progress through the licenses more first to get it. Yeah i see you what mean, but the last burnout i played had a different start menu option to go through the crash for cash junctions that you could just select any time, multiplayer too. shame you can only get it through the main game now then if thats the case
Whitesupraboy2
Online is great, but then i dont know how the PS3 version works. Xbox one you dont even pause, just choose online > ranked match > custom and choose type of event race etc... and thats it your in driving round the city waiting for the race to be launched. What i like is this is the equivilant to the lobby and during this period i can still complete the 1 player, i.e secret gates etc... and the other people are driving round too so can take them out you found the secret banger track in the mountains? SteamAhead
Downloaded the 360 demo - VERY disappointed with the structure of this game now. Every time I started a race at the lights, I ended up getting lost half way to the end, as there is no clear indication of where the hell ya going. Plus, once that race had ended (and I failed) I would then have to drive all the way back, rather than a quick button press to the start again. I can see what their trying to do with this free roaming environment thing (and I've really tried to like it), but feel the spirit of Burnout has gone. This might end up being the first Burnout game I don't own Can anyone out there convince me otherwise? Jim
