Why is it always the children who start these threads? Is it a "look at me I am very young and own a Supra thing"?

In all fairness it is quite an acheivement to be able to afford a Supra at that age, to many it is their dream car. I know because it is my dream car and I got mine two years ago when I was 21 :p

Why is it an achievement to own a car that is now cheaper than a lot of family saloons or standard boy racer models?

The running costs - Over £200 for 2 new 'cheap' rear tyres.... when I had a Golf that would of paid for all four tyres and still left me with change for the pub. Then there is servicing every year, tax, insurance (£2000 when I first got mine) and then fuel costs, want me to carry on?

Or was you referring to just buying one? Of course a lot of people can now afford to buy one as the prices are coming down as you would expect with 15 year old cars.

I think he was just a little curious, probably didn't think about getting lynched by the over 38 catagory.

Someone else commented on the over 38s, so I thought I would too. Just for a laugh, you understand :)

It doesn't bother me, as I don't take most threads that seriously anyway ;)
