Scott
Thats a horrible story! Kinda makes me want to take the benefit of the doubt regarding members who i think may be a it. Some advice going the right way might help to prevent something like this. Scott =op

cheekymonkey
Wow, no words really. Reading a lot of the posts and came across this article where the actual forum is mentioned in the news, but in a very good light. http://www.ocala.com/article/20080127/BREAKING_NEWS/274162577/1053/BREAKING_NEWS

Too sad to read that thread to end. I was thinking it might be a reminder here to some of us to drive more safely. Not sure if that it works that way though. Sparky
Just read the bmw forum and these quotes really make sense now! Unfortunatly abit too late for him! "Josh, Let me the first to say. . . Welcome to the Board and Conratulations! Like Kenny said, "Be Safe and Enjoy" and... "I would be much prefer an 18 year old with brains to have an M5 rather than spend his moeny on some other piece of junk that could kill him and his mates in an accident"! marc_p
Hell that is nasty, but then again why did his parents by him that car at 18, I wouldn't trust myself in that car now at 20.
Kranz
Hell that is nasty, but then again why did his parents by him that car at 18, I wouldn't trust myself in that car now at 20. It was his dad's car.

far
thats awful, its scarey that he was on the board posting 1 minute and was gone the next. A guy in the office was pitching to a director last week who had asked him to call back today, his PA told my colleague that the guy had died

Pete
Young guys and powerful rear wheel drive cars do not mix. I can't imagine his insurance company looking nicely on the comments he made on the forum. "The problem is when I'm going pedal to the metal pushing 140 and upshifting, there tends to be thud noise with the gear change," he wrote in one post. Syed Shah
Young guys and powerful rear wheel drive cars do not mix. . Not always. The real danger is those young men who buy them to show off to their mates. My driving with others in the car has always been sedate in comparison to when I drive alone, in the right areas. My driving with others in the car has always been sedate in comparison to when I drive alone, in the right areas. Well said. It's one thing to endanger yourself on a private course, but to act a fool with others in the car? Rediculous. Hits close to home if you followed the Nick Hogan threads. I was an idiot driver at 18 in my Rex.
