Getrag
Is it my imagination or have I read about this before. I was having a look in at my fuel pump to prepare to change it and found 2 little golden nuts about an inch each in size, sealed in there. They must have been deliberately left there. Very odd those Jap boys

Graham S
I've had better than that! I had a car come in, with the customer complaining it had become very sluggish, checked the exhaust/cat hadn't broken up then moved under the bonnet. With the car running, revving it up the intake pipe from the airbox to the throttle block was being sucked in!! Very interesting! i removed the airbox and filter and to my amazement, found the airbox was jam packed with nuts and leaves! and i mean stuffed full, must have been about a thousand in there! I think someone will now be having a very bad winter with no nuts so survive on, sorry mr. squirrel!!

Soonto_HAS_soop
I once found a 10mm socket in the front CAT of a car I was servicing. The owner had complained of a rattle when cold.

God, that sounds like my cat - every time I leave my toolbox lid open - he's got his paws on my socket set! He rattles after a few 10mm sockets too! :upside:
