michael
Popped down to Thor for my SAFC II sticking in and setting up yesterday, top service as usual but as ever I left with a shopping list to investigate Firstly a mods list to put things into context..... '94 UK TT Auto with the following: Apexi AVC-R Apexi SAFC II TRL FCD NuR Spec CW Decat Pipes Blitz LM FMIC IK24's K&N Panel Filter Initially I was hoping to play at 1.3 bar but Pete soon found no benefit over 1.2 bar, so we settled at the lower setting and ended up with 380.2bhp and 378.3lb/ft. The SAFC II seems to have plenty of scope but it was noted that the car was leaning out at higher boost so while it was possible to adjust things at lower revs there wasn't much that could be done at the top end at present. It was suggested that a new fuel pump and regulator (FSE) might be the way forward now - I suspect the current pump is the original OEM so it's probably due to be replaced anyway. So there you have it, another happy Thor customer, another chap saving up for more mods All my dyno runs to date are uploaded here: http://www.megaboost.co.uk/supra/mine/dyno/ Recent Thor ones are attached for reference / feedback - very keen to hear input on which fuel pump to go for as an upgrade..... Dragonball
Very nice Micheal - good to see that the old findings (somewhere on the board) about 1.2BAR+ = just heat seeme right IMHO Walbro is the natural choice - but I think I saw Terry had a UK pump for sale which will be even better? The FSE should give you some extra low down torque and responsiveness when combined with this - the Aeromotive as a 1:1 will just improve on your stock FPR slightly Nice one
michael
It looks as though Jake beat me to the UK pump and from what I gather the Walbro would need pairing up to outflow it - time to bend over and give Mr T some cash again
Dragonball
No not necessary to bend m8 (well - not unless it rings ya bell!) The Walbro is plenty man enough for your requirements - loads left for you needs at present Just get the Walbro 342 and an FSE and you are away!
