I never said it was exactly right.

I don't like to give people asking simple questions complicated answers thats all. People who know what they are talking about wouldn't ask such a question so i answered it in a way that the person asking would get an idea of why P was better than i.

When a question is asked we can all whip the boys out and have a right old pissing contest but it makes no difference to the person asking it. I know that if i don't understand something or care to understand it the simple answer is enough for me.

If i wanted to give a full and frankly baffling response i would have simply linked to this..

Ok, sorry if I touched a nerve, but your statment about PAL being 288 lines and upscaled was incorrect and I was just correcting it...

At, say, 42"... what resolution can we actually see? In other words, is 1080p a bit much of a muchness before going 50" and above or is it still within our visual boundaries?

Don't wanna waste money on my next tv lol

Personally, You want 1080p for anything 37/40 and above. The quality (when you actually use it with a proper HD input) is AMAZING.

If you think that 1080p is the end of it though, think again:

I quote:

It has a screen resolution of 7680x4320 pixels, 16 times greater than current HD.......To transfer just 18 minutes of video requires some 3.5 terabits of data
