Amber fog light? :)

I used my fog light switch for the first time 2 nights ago. My mate following me said that it looked amber, almost white which isn't good!

As you look at the back of the car, it was the left hand light on my right hand cluster that was lighting up - like a reverse light.

Do you think whoever did the original fog light conversion put a painted red bulb in there, and now the red paint is coming off? That's my theory but I don't know what's usually done.

Why not check? It should be a red bulb if it is in the reverse light.

Might be a cheap painted bulb as you say that was bought like this and is starting to flake off. Should be red glass.

Wish I could. I do all my thinking when I'm bored at work (which is quite a lot) and 100 miles from the Supra :p

Will crack it open later :)
