Chris Wilson
The pics of our area on Google Earth are well out of date (8 years at least). Short of spending money with the dodgy looking people who knock on your door asking if you want an aerial picture of the house taking next week, when his mate is on the next drugs run, is there a way of maybe buying, (hell, did I really say that..) a more up to date image from the satellite people? Ta!
Supradoopa
I'll ask the question at work for you, possibly a Canberra, Nimrod or Islander has flown over your area. Or even the possibility of BKS imagery. But 9" aerial film is always the best What's your postcode Chris?

jamesmark
Out of date in my area too, still has the Mondeo estate I sold nearly 3 years ago in the drive, and the next door neighbours garage is still there that was taken down 6 years ago to make room for his rats with wings. I really do not see what the fuss is about with Google earth, 2 mins and your bored with it

Chris Wilson
Hello Chris, Would you like an aerial picture of you house taking? Say, next week. Sounds interesting, but the obvious question; how much? Could I define, say on a Google Earth image, where the boundaries are? What sort of size photo would it be, and would it be good enough to blow up quite large? Cheers
Soop Dogg
I recently checked the pic of my place on Google Earth and found that Digsy's car was parked on the road outside! I think it was taken sometime last summer.
johnnyknox
I find this rather impressive.. http://maps.live.com/ Once you find your area, try the "birds eye" function...if it works in your area then it has some cracking images! You can also rotate

Same here. Houses in our Village that have been up 5 odd years had not been build in this on.

Pete
Mapping is big money, we only get the shonky old stuff for free. I'm sure there will be some government agency can provide you with a picture of a fly on Boos head for the right price.
