Ric
A quick question. When Hurley was sitting outside in the mental hospital, another patient comes up to him and says "there is a man staring at you". The man turns out to be Charlie. So, how come the other patient could see him? Hurley has had a invisible friend before, if he can see it, his invisible friend can

He got fried in the weird sonar defence fence thing, got shot with a harpoon, and didn't seem at all bothered about letting that grenade explode in his hand! Also, Richard (one of the others) looked the same age when he met Ben as a child, as he does now!

CJ
Hahaha, the plot thickens!! Can it get any thicker Also, what is the deal with Mikael (spelling?!). He got fried in the weird sonar defence fence thing, got shot with a harpoon, and didn't seem at all bothered about letting that grenade explode in his hand! As I recall, Mikael got fried but as the setting was on stun (as opposed to kill) he survived that one. He got shot with a harpoon but managed to get outside into the water (possibly just a flesh wound:d). And as he iknew he was dying (from the harpoon) he didnt give a sh*t about the grenade Also, Richard (one of the others) looked the same age when he met Ben as a child, as he does now! Blackie
I did'nt think Charlie would leave for good, He's one of viewers favorites (Well mine). Thats a good way of having a death in the major story with still keeping the main people. Genius

Also, once shot with the harpoon, he managed to get into scuba gear, and if he was going to commit suicide, why put the scuba gear on? Plus, as mentioned previously, Locke got shot by Ben, but is now fine!
Ric
its already been proved the island had healing properties, perhaps mikeal has taken to those quite extraordinarily Not to mention dharma experiments, whats to say they didn't experiment on the islands original inhabitants (the others) Hence the life regeneration experiments on richard as mentioned in the dharma videos
CJ
I have been having a little look around the Lost forums today. Wow, do these guys ever have imaginations or what?
SILKYSMOOTH
and how the hell did Locke's dad re-appear when the udders captured Locke?
CJ
and how the hell did Locke's dad re-appear when the udders captured Locke? The others had access to the outside world through the sub. They also had extensive knowledge of all the survivors so could easily find and trace Locke's dad.
Ric
Dharma Experiments * Life extension (Richard, Mikeal, Locke maybe) * Electromagnetism (Hatch, why the plane crashed) * Extra-terrestrial intelligence (Radio sounds from another time, place etc) * Mathematical forecasting (Lockes ability to tell its going rain?) * Cryogenics (not appeared yet) * Juxtapositional eugenics (is this like transportation or what?) * Psychic remote viewing (Walt, desmond)

ivan
Apparently, the newspaper funeral announcement that Jack was crying over mentioned a name beginning with J... Someone on the Lost forums grabbed a still image.

Ric
I've wondered if the Black Smoke is a sum creation of all these experiments. (BTW Juxtapositional eugenics is genetic engineering) I think the black smoke is one of the many red herrings in lost to keep people guessing and theorizing I dont think we will ever find out what it is or how it got there. But u never know

But u never know See this is the problem I have with Lost. If they don't answer questions like "what is the black smoke?" and don't answer them well, then it will be an unsatisfactory ending. If the ending is something stupid like it is someone's dream, then it will be remembered as a joke. If they have a really clever, interesting ending, it could (should in my opinion) go down as one of the best series ever.
dane_stone
I keep thinking it could have been Michel in the coffin he set Kate, Jack etc. up to get captured. So that would be why no one went to the funeral. Do we Know anything about Michel and Walt did they get home? When Hurley met Jack that was set before the jack and kate meet up in the end of s03. Jack says to hurley I'm thinking of growing a beared so it could also been hurley in the coffin.
Ric
Doubt it, the coffin wasn't very "large" The drive to the funeral place was in a "black community" so could be right about micheal, but im still thinking Locke or Ben Yes end of season 3 was well after Jack spoke with Hurley, obviously this season is going to cover from when jack played ball with Hurley up to and maybe past when jack and kate was at the airport
