tbourner
I don't understand the question. Assuming money is no object why on earth would anyone want an R33 over an R34? It makes no sense, it's like being offered a free VW beetle or a free Porsche 911, which one should I have.... hmm.....
Tricky-Ricky
R34 all day long;)far more refined than the 33 otherwise a really good R32.

johnnyknox
I have heard the 32 is better to drive than the 33 but if I had the money I would go for the 34. SMiFFAD
If you can afford the 34, get a 34 R33's are nice, but personally i prefer the 34, just going to be a few decades before i could afford to buy one... where as the 33 is quite cheap in comparison. Appearntly the 33's engine is a bit tougher, hence sumo using a 33 engine in their 34, or so i remember reading a few years ago. 34's are abit more modern, 33's still have the cheap tacky plastic feel inside, where as the 34's had a little more imagination put into them. tooquicktostop
I thought the R32, 33 and 34 shared the same RB26 engine ?
steb9780
R34 without a doubt although I do love the 33. It's more a case of if money is the object I think. Most people would probably go for the 34 if they could afford one.
Paul Whiffin
I've yet to drive a 32 that feels as good as a 33 or 34, they always feel a bit tired and unconnected to me. 34 all the way for me without a doubt.
colsoop
R34 for me too : http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/9525/greenskylinemr0.th.jpg
SmigzyTT
All GTR's interiors are crap, the 34's MFD is the only think thats half decent. All have the RB26 engine which are essentially the same except the turbo's. the 32 and 33 have ceramic tubbies, 33 has different intercooler and BB turbo giving a bit more torque. N1 R34's turbos have steel exhaust wheels. All of which you junk asap LOL
MARTIN R
R34 for me too Me to but I reckon you would get less depreciation in a R33 at present, maybe worth waiting for a while
grahamc
cannot get it right away, so got a few months, so will see what happens to the market. I do believe that the UK market is inflated.
Olly
It has to be the R32 or R34.I used to have an 32 and loved it.Tried the 33 and didn't like it at all.Feels far too heavy and sluggish.Never been in a 34 but what people say it's much closer to the 32 than a 33.That's just my opinion. Chris Wilson
R33 as it's lighter, although a 34 has the stronger Getrag box. neither can be remotely called attractive cars! If you do track days you could fit the Getrag to a 33. Both have rubbish build quality, compared to a MKIV, with bits of tin nailed on all over the place to tray and get some body shell rigidity in the things. If it wasn't for the Skylines technology in the engine and drivetrain making it such a dream to drive a MKIV is a far better made car
Paul Whiffin
Imagine a Supra with a R34 GTR gearbox and 4wd system, that would be something wouldn't it.
Chris Wilson
The cars just got heavier as they got newer, the 32 is by far the lightest, the 34 had gotten positively portly by the time it was released.

grahamc
So Paul, how is your skyline doing?? any updates on what has been happening to it?? Yes its a heavy, but I just cant get past how much the supra scared the hell out of me in winter, with slightly greasy roads. So in my mind, the next best thing, is the skyline... Nick
All GTR's interiors are crap, the 34's MFD is the only think thats half decent. The seats are also far more supportive than the comedy ones fitted to the Surpra.

Its great, all I've done since buying it is the Advan RS rims, HKS exhaust, Apexi element, Nismo side/rear skirts, cant believe I've resisted spending a shit load on it! They are brilliant cars, got the best of both worlds, grip in a straight line and you can still slide it around bends if you want to get a bit lairy, superb. I've had a couple of R32's, a few R33's and this is by far the best. Get a lot of looks as well, people taking photographs of it, etc. mainly from people who know what it is, not exactly common on the roads over here are they. Just buy one is what I say.
