grahamc
which would you choose if you were buying one? I am leaning towards the R34, but seen a couple R33 that look very good!!
rob wild
which would you choose if you were buying one? I am leaning towards the R34, but seen a couple R33 that look very good!! Well it would have to be a R34 GTR V-Spec but i think they are still rather expensive. Whats your budget?
grahamc
to help the decision making process budget is well open, if r34 then it will just take longer to get the car... r34 will also skip the eSVA test, so I will have to wait until the car is 10 years before I can register here legally... grahamc
R34 without question why?
RobSheffield
I love the R33, but the R34 looks soo lovely! Bayside R34 with gold TE37s or Nismo LMs, cannot be beaten imo - just look at Nicks and find one R33 that comes close!
mr lover
R33 for me, looks mainly, there are some nice ones out there
grahamc
Nicks is stunning... And this one... sure I have posted these before but oh well Personally, I would go for a white one, carbon trim, TE37s dark grey colour
RobSheffield
That is nice yes
Pot
why? The looks, the power 'potential', the presence it has on the road, the fact it's an 'improved' model (Else it wouldn't have it's rep)...
Guest 96FaceLifted
R34s look aggressive seeing them on the road

Carl_S
R34 GTR. Seen both. It will also out-twist any supra. :-) Hope you get one.
Nick
Obviously I'd go for the R34, but you should drive both first though. I drove my mates R33 on the track and it's quite different to my car. Had great fun spinning it up out of the tight corners. I'd rather have an R32 over the R33 though, and there's still some great examples to be found here in Japan. Unfortunately cannot afford to run 2 skylines, as much as I woul like to R32 is just a little too old and I am not a huge of look of the rear quarter of the car... Gaz Walker
If you can afford the R34, get it - no question. Gaz.
SmigzyTT
Really depends on your goals and budget with the car. I'd love a 34 but they are just too expensive at the moment although they are coming down in price. For the price of a 34 you could buy a massively tuned 33..... Muffleman
I would also say it's budget dependant, yes the R34 can be had for about £25kish nowadays but modifying them isn't cheap if you want it done properly. So the R33 could be done cheaper and they are still a great car that can be made to look very good, but the problem with buying the R33 is - would you always regret having not bought the R34 ? Flipside of the coin though, have fun in the R33 for a year or two, get some trackdays under your belt and then buy an R34 when they are even cheaper, due to the new GTR now being out, and then do the R34 ??? Tough one mate ! It's a hard life
tooquicktostop
the R34 for me, the only Jap car I would swop the Supra for at the moment, fantastic aggressive looks and the wonderful RB26 engine in a car that out of the R32,33 and 34 has far the best interior and will hold its price for longer IMO
Paul Whiffin
R34 is the nuts mate, I love mine to bits, I may be persuaded to sell it though for the right price.....Also got Dazza's R32 GTR up for grabs now which is a bit of a stunner. Thats what i would do. 34's are only going to go down in the coming months, and by more of a margin than 33's and 32's.
grahamc
Well goal is in a few years to move over Europe somewhere, cannot handle the cold weather of the UK for much longer... So being that close to Nurburgring, warrants having a decent R34!! The idea is to import a white one from Japan, leave it unregistered, so no eSVA test, no insurance , but no driving it for a year or 2. Have it built whle I wait...
