V
Semi using my car now for the past couple months – weather depending. I make sure I get a half decent run every 2 weeks and move all the movable bits, doors, hinges, mirror, boot bonnet ect. The passenger window gave me nothing at all. It’s not stuck (no drop in revs) And wasn’t used when it was cold. Has worked without fail without ever a grown or stutter. The drivers works fine. Doesnt work either the Drivers or Passanger switch Going to have to have a prod around. Everything else works fine. Engine bay fuses are fine, but I assume the electrical spur supplies more than just that single window? ie +mirrors and drivers side? Plus I would have thought there was a fuse box in the foot well, but I couldn’t find one on first, dark inspection??? 12 Body Electrical System12.pdf12 Body Electrical System13.pdf12 Body Electrical System14.pdf12 Body Electrical System96.pdf12 Body Electrical System97.pdf
V
Looking the manual it looks like a bit more than fuse......... Nic
Maybe a silly question, is the button on the drivers side that disables the window down?
V
Hi Nic. err yes it might be............. I had just thought that, especially as my little boy (16mths) was sitting in there the other day (being watched) fiddling with everything! Firstly i hope it is. Secondly i hope it isnt as I’d deserve a slap for being a thick tw@t. will go look tonight!! The button locks out the passnager window from the drivers side as well yeah? Cheers I know someone else who made this mistake a few years back, but I'll not say who it was. We were at the point of taking door cards off when I spotted the button was pressed. I said to 'Mr Nameless', 'Have you tried this?' (His face was a picture at this point!) Pressed it again and - bingo - everything was fine again. But yes, if this is your problem - you deserve a slap!
