Matt H
That looks beyond financial repair to me mate it doesnt look bad imo, very fixable, its just if it was an n/a then they might not go ahead, doesnt take much to write a car off
thesword22
its a tt so im hoping if i go through insurance then they wont wirte it off. im just getting qoutes on how much its gonna cost me private first.
ShamelessTT
Thats pretty bad buddy, have to see what they say.You sure it was 30mph? cos thats pretty bad for such a low speed.
thesword22
it felt like 30 i want really concentrating on the speedo to be honest.
stupra
Unlucky mate, hope it's not a write off.
Kranz
Afraid it looks like a write off fella. The cost of repairing that will probably be £3K+ if it is fixable. The inner wings are shot and chassis rails look like they're probably quite bent. The wheel's taken a knock but hopefully it hasn't bent the suspension. Done privately with second hand parts though? Probably £1k plus paint?
AndrewOW
All that damage at 30mph? It was probably very damp on the roads last night, so no brakes equal locked up brakes on a slippery road. Very unfortunate. Hope you get it sorted EDIT: Dumb old Mac can't keep up with my typing!

Mr. Fish
sorry, but i saw the whole event, and you werent doing 30, you were driving like a tit tbh. decided he wanted to show off against a chaved to the max blue corsa as there is a 50-100 metre dual carriage way and ended up not braking and booting it into st johns roundabout taking out a sign.... my version of events of course... RobSheffield
Im not totally following, why couldnt you steer? Wheels locked or it wouldnt steer? Locked wheels might indicate a tad more than 30 mph, or perhaps diesel on the road for you to slide all that way and do that much damage! Oh, apparently you are 'owned' anyway
SteveR
^^^ I hope I never crash and depend on Ian R for any supportive words of consolation

Mr. Fish
from where i was, it was blatent that you were trying to show off to a corsa, and were driving too fast for the conditions thus out breaking yourself, and hitting the sign. turbonut
.......anyway its being fixed this week or next week when i get the parts.... If your getting it fixed this week why are you asking us if it is a write off? and why are you already ordering parts (when you dont know why the brakes were ineffective anyway or exactley how it happened) and not waiting for the insurers to assess it? or are you not claiming and if so why not? or weren't you insured lol ....and how do you understeer a rwd car ?? something dodgy me thinks... oh well, whatever the why's and wherefore's hope you get it sorted and back on the road soon. If you've had it only as long as your membership here, your kinda new - these beasts bite, as you've found out, especially in the wet and around islands. thesword22
i damn well hope your not calling me a chav mate. i dont take kindly to it. as to the remark about the supra biting. yes i know now it can bite. so thenh were you situated when this took place then mate. i was asking because i was wondering waht to do with regards to insurance or do it myself. im doing it myself. with regards to no insurance thats bullshit. (sorry for swearing) im a motor trader therefore i have insurance. sorry for the rant but hey.
Vicky
Hope you manage to get it fixed, hate to see a supra like that
BASHTHEBISHOP
So based on the fact that could well be £1500 to repair whay are you not claiming on insurance? What tyres were on the car? cant tell from the pics. Have to say Mr Fish's story looks more believable than yours based on the damage shown....
