Gough
Afternoon! Just arrived back from a full service at Chris Wilson's. The car feels much better than before - less kickback through the steering wheel and the autobox shifts are smoother (how did you achieve that Chris?). ...Ah yes and its a bit quicker than before too (there was me thinking I wouldn't go any further down the tuning route.. ha ha yeah right). Feels like two turbo 2's now if you see what I mean Just to clarify Chris, I now need a Fuel Cut defender from Pete Betts at Thor don't I ... and is a boost guage necessary? Thanks again for all your work Chris.
Chris Wilson
Thanks for the thanks Joe! You wanted the throttle adjusting, so i also checked the adjustment for the gearbox throttle position and re set it. That will account for the auto box shift feel change. Yes, get Pete to sell you an FCD (for other readers I normaly have them in stock, but found I had 2 speed delimiters, not a speed delimiter and an FVD). A boost gauge is always a good idea. i sell one that fits perfectly in the hole the clock currently occupies, is mechanical, so a doddle to fit, and is 42 quid all in, with fitting kit. That's all you need, but you can spend 10 times that for top of the range electronic ones with gizmos you'll probably only use a couple of times. Thanks for the work Joe, all the best.
