SexySallySupra
I have Jap TT, the Speedo has been converted to read MPH, I have been looking into also getting a top speed delimiter, but meaning the MPH has already converted does this mean that there is already a Speed delimiter there but not wired up, where should i look to find out? Scoboblio
What is the top speed on your speedo? If it's around 110mph then it's probably just had another dial face put in place of the old one, rather than being electronically converted to mph... and hence won't have the limit removed. Has the limit definately not been taken off?
SexySallySupra
The car stops around 120mph on the clock which is probably more like 112mph, the clock is still the orginal as i can see the KPH underneith when the sun shines on it
Scoboblio
Sounds like it's had another dial face slapped ontop of the old kph one rather than a proper electronic conversion... the dealer I bought mine from wanted to do this too but I told them I'd get it done myself. You can get the parts for delimiting / converting fairly easily (TRL one comes highly recommended ) but obviously this will still mean your speedo tops out at 120mph..... when I had mine converted I stuck with the original dial face which says kmh but now actually reads in mph Perhaps the best idea would be to go back to the old kmh dial face, then electronically convert / delimit it electronically. BTW be careful which equipment you go for, cheap ones can cause all sorts of problems with the active spoiler / cruise control etc. EDIT: Bugger, I should really read people's posts BEFORE I reply. Shutting up now

If I understand you correctly, you have a speedo dial that reads up to 180 and has had the letters 'kph' changed to 'mph', right? In that case it has had an electronic speedo converter fitted. This is a small electrical box that is most likely to be hidden behind the the clocks, if it's not there it'll be wired into the ECU harness which is under the carpet in the passenger side footwell. Speedo converters are available with and without top speed delimiters, so it's impossible for us to tell you which yours is.
