If its an EU country there's no limit. If you are going to bring back 1000s they will need to be the same brand else the customs will get suss. I smoke cutters choice BTW ;)

THIS IS NOT CORRECT!!!

There is a 'recommended' limit of 60 pouches of tobacco 3Ks n I think 1000 cigarettes.

If you exceed this customs are fully within their rights to pull you in and spend at least an hour quizzing you about your tobacco.

They ask things like how often you travel, how much you smoke, how long a packet lasts. Where did you get your money to buy the items. They also search your bag and if you don't have a lighter rizzla and an open pouch can decide that you don't smoke and confiscate the lot including your 'allowance'. Believe me this does happen and I bloody smoke. Gave my open packet and rizzla to my mate who gave me a lift to the airport so had no smoking evidence and apparently the amount I said I smoked and the total amount of pouches I had would last me longer than I stated, therefore 240 pouches were confiscated from me at a southern airport. They Xrayed my bag as it came off the plane and then followed it to me.
