I'm gonna replace the boot rubber this weekend and need to know what sort/size screws I need to replace as Toyota didn't send me any with the rubbers. I plan on using this guide. Any other tips? As someone cleverly said, take an old one along as a sample I'm off the Loghborough for a post knocker at 5.30AM, so I am not opening the workshop up and setting all the dogs off to see if I can find a sample now! Went to screwfix today and got some M5 x 12mm socket headed screws they do the job just nicely. Had trouble with the bloody pozi ones that were in the old rubbers, I tried the heating up methob in the how to but it didn't work for me I rounded the heads off the damn things ( I used my top quality Irazola electricans screwdrivers 2!). In the end I had to use an old driver to chisel of the base plate and used 'mole grips' on the screw heads and all went well. No more creaky boot!
