N/A 0-60 cant find it anywhere!!!!

Im no youngster...sunny Jim..;) .

 

How old are you then ? I dont mean to sound funny or anything but your posts dont seem to be written by an Oldie :D.

 

The words/phrases highlighted below just dont seem to have come from anyone older than about 20. And thats not old.

 

As far as mods go, im running 18" wheels with 265/35/18's on the rear, 2nd decated with 5" stainless steel exhaust and HKS filter... nothing special. But the engine is so smooth and runs like new, very responsive. Last week I beat a WRX turbo all the way to 120 leptons off the line with him chasing on my rear arch until I backed off. It seems to draw a lot of attention at night. Don't get me wrong, I don't go out racing every night, or thrash my car about, generally I drive very safely and just cruise along. I felt I had to do this 0-60 test because I would have been really disappointed if it did it in 7 seconds.

 

Two of my cousins have WRX turbo's and they are quite fast, my bimma eats them for lunch.:p This one may have been a dudd one, if so, the guy in the scooby lied to me....

 

So come on, lets know how old you are. It may not add much credability to your claims , but in a funny sort of way some people just trust what older people say, because they know that older people were young once and have learnt from past mistakes. Basically what im saying is that generally younger people tend to blag/brag more than old people.

 

A bit of evidence to back up the very low 0 to 60 claims wouldnt go a-miss either.

I got an NA auto and a 6 speed single, the NA is great for going shopping and getting to work :p

 

I've owned an n/a, stock uk tt, full bpu & T04R all autos and each one a world apart from the other, I will say that i think a lot of n/a owners live in a dream world with some of the performance figures that they come out with, my n/a couldn't beat 330ci's, yet my stock tt could pull away from M3's and BPU it was much quicker than a M3.:)

you must have one of the quickest N/A's around to reach that time

i was on a meet yesterday and i can tell you i got leatherd by4 TT from a start and a stock TT does around a 5 sec 60mph time and i was a good 2 sec behind them

so unless it has nos or a heavly modded motor it just aint poss

 

Brett had a similar run in with a tt lol!:D

 

Sounds a bit quick for an n/a though, also had another test between a tt and an n/a coming off the lights onto a slip road, as soon as number 2 comes in he was toast, so good 1-2 seconds behind...
