Guest madhouse1c
Can anybody help me identify a genuine uk supplied/spec supra over an import. I know all the superficial differences such as headlight washers, leather interior and cruise control but I was wondering whether there was anything non superficial such as the chassis number that can identify a uk model over an import. I have previously owned a uk spec/supplied Skyline's and RX7's and in both cases the chassis numbers were different compared to the imports. Is this the same case for the Supra's, if so could somebody please tell me what the difference in chassis numbers is? Cheers in advance to anybody who replies

jamesmark
Yes Larger 4 pot brakes 2 pot rears (although can be found on a J-Spec) rear lights have fogs in them The air intake to the turbos has a MAF sensor Bonnet scoop on the engine bay there will be a air scoop leading down the side of the engine. (hint: - in the middle of the engine bay) Will have cream leather (front and back) Cruise Control under the sunvisor on drivers side will be in English Twin airbags Glass headlights heated seats (buttons for this located under stereo) Headlamp adjustment. Headlight washers (unless aftermarket bumber)
chrisavila100
I can confirm from my chassis plate that the uk's were set out like this: JT164JA80xxxxxxxx So there should be another 8 numbers after the 80... Hope this helps...
