razza
I think it finishes the car off nicely, I'm a big fan of them, having got one myself:D
hondaboy
I'm not a big fan of the "scoop", if the Jspec can manage without one then why does the UKspec need one? It can't be anything to do with the engine, can it?
ShamelessTT
I guess its just more aggressive styling for the UK customers, same way as the UK cars got more power to boot. I imagine it has sweet FA to do with cooling.... IMO putting a UK Spec bonnet vent on a JSpec car is absolutely fine, but youve still gotta tell people its a JSpec lol (mines a jspec so im not trying to cause a ruck), so why bother. UK Spec stuff for performance gain is all id do.
dr_blackman
I'd go for it mate Quick silver is a bugger to match though mate My bonnet needs replacing and spraying on mine at some point...
Kranz
You bought it Jim...... get it fitted LOL Or sell it me back at half the price It'll look great & won't detract from the price. I'll pop round when its done & give my opinion next time I'm in Glos
Big Red One
the uk spec bonet vent allows more air in to the turbos, they have a little nozzle that goes up in the bonet vent so there is a point to them
ShamelessTT
So whys quick silver so difficult to match? mines gun metal, KR did the respray, then when it got broken into i bought pre sprayed door handles etc from Toyota direct and the match was excellent, surely aslong as your orgional colour hasnt faded from the stock colour then it should match. si
dr_blackman
Paint fades after 10+ years mate A good bodyshop should match it, but my insurance approved bodyshop never quite matched my front wing after 2 attempts, need my bonnet sprayed at some point but dont know a decent bodyshop who will do there best to match.
