I was driving to work from Cheltenham to Barnwood, Gloucester at about 6.45 am this morning. I come upto a few cars at the C&G Barnwood roundabout with traffic lights. Three lanes on the roundabout. I'm on the left hand lane which allows you to take 1st exit left or to go straight on. The middle lane is straight on only and the right lane is go right. Lights change we all move off. As I pass the 1st left exit a huge black 4x4 Nissan Navarro comes steaming past from the middle or right hand lane, cuts right across me. All I can see is black wall of metal and wheels. I slammed on the anchors and fortunately missed him by microns. He takes the 1st exit and just carried on like as if nothing happened.

I had a terribly ignorant person of questionable parentage in a Mercedes nearly wipe me out on the M61 the other day. I was leaving Manchester and on a stretch where 2 two-lane motorways merge. I was in the fast lane of the nearside and the Merc was merging from the right. i saw his indicator come on out of the corner of my eye and he started to turn into me and had to slam on. he then dove in behind me, horn going, and passed me on the inside making rude gestures through the window. Idiot.

This no swearing thing is a pain - that first line should read *u**i** **ck.
