Pabs Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 Rear projection? I'd not give them a thump, as I thought they had bulbs in similar to a front projection.... expensive stuff..... I had a problem with my old tv whereby the whole image was in 1 line across the screen, I found it to be a dry joint on one of the IC's on the board. I'm racking my brain as to which IC.... but the only one I can think of is the chroma IC and that's colour, not picture..... Be careful if you do attempt anything though - some VERY large voltages inside TV's, steer clear of any capacitors! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
