My Dads Mechanic

Darren-K

Recommended Posts

I had to give my Dad a lift to collect his car from a mechanic he uses all the time to service his car,M.o.t it etc

On the way there my dad asked me,. "what power does this car have Darren"?

i said,"about 200bhp dad"

my dad burst out laughing calling me an idiot and plenty more,.

saying "Darren this car must be at least 2000bhp ,even my car is 3000bhp" ( my dads car is a 4x4 nissan )

I then got realy annoyed,.

"Dad,your talking CC``s ,. CUBIC CAPACITY,. thats not BHP"

this went on,. and on,. for about 7 miles.,

anyways,. gets to my Dads mechanics workshop,.so my Dad asked the mechanic in front of me,."Isnt my car 3000bhp"

the mechanic unbleivably said,." well kind of yes " (i said) "were talking BHP not CC" he said,.. "Its all calculated on CC Darren"

as soon as he said that i went shaking my head..

how on earth can a mechanic think this ?

My dad has told me plenty of times in the past "you should use my mechanic Daz" ha ha !!! lol

Don't you mean cubic centimetres instead of cubic capacity?
The cubic capacity of a Supra engine is 3000 cubic centimetres, or 3 litres, or 183 cubic inches, or 5.279 Imperial pints, or 6.34 US pints, or 105.585 Imperial fluid ounces, or 0.00392 cubic yards, or ........
