randy
I hear a weird short 1 sec sound like {metal buzz} that comes when I floor my car gradually say on 2nd gear between 5000 RPM TO 6500 RPM I can also feel the viberation in the accelerator pedal. There is no loss of power! Also when I floor on WOT this sound does not come. Help pls!
Nic
I had a resonating sound at certain rpm turned out that one of the exhaust hangers was off and the exhaust was resonating. If it only happens at a certain rpm it sounds like something is loose and vibrating. HTH
randy
This has happened only after all my boost mods eg. downpipe, Boost Controller. Do you think it has to do with fuel OR something?
Terminator
Noises associated with high RPM resonance are very hard to track, a real shortage of volunteers to hang on the bonnet while you are doing 120 leptons. I would suggest checking your dowm pipe nuts and associated fittings.
THOR Racing
I used to get this when I had my Apeci Downpipe on, but not now I have my Mongoose system. I think this metallic noise is only being generated by the harmonics of the exhaust system. Mine originally sounded like a bag of nails were loose in the pipe, did 25Kmiles without any problem, then fitted a complete replacement exhaust and it's all gone. So it must have been the exhaust material or construction. Pete
