Nope, it's a three year old news story. Love the "I am in no way a violent person" quote..... now why would anyone say you were? :taped:

Thats disgusting and they should print a picture of the female for all to see,

when she comes out of prison she can carry on her life.

................she's out! relocated to Lancashire somewhere i think :);)

This particular incident is unfortunately and rather wincingly legendary in Liverpool. Thankfully, most of the ladies around here are not as non-violent as her.

Absoloutely, scouse girls are some of the best in the country. But, hell shes nuts (no pun intended). That story brought tears to my eyes:blink:

Off course they do,

they do it all the time, ive seen 25 pics in 1 paper alone on one day,

there pics are all over the press..

its there ADDRESSES they dont give out.

You sure??

What scares me most: "It was never my intention to cause harm to Geoff" - like pulling a testicle off is usually painless

well yeh, thats what Sarah`s law is about isnt ?

they want the addresses so parents can check to see if there is a peado in there area.,

the police wont allow it due to the risk of vigilante`s after that innocent man was burnt alive in his house....

vigilantes got the right name but wrong address and hence, wrong man.

** hhm,ive been trying to find this in news archives,i remmeber it was about 3 years ago but maybe he didnt die ??

there was def a case of mistaken id tho and they set fire to his house whilst he was in bed.

So, what you're saying is they publish pictures of people but not their address?

Hmmm.

I don't specialise in criminal law, but I would have thought that whether faces are shown depends on a number of factors including:

  • age of criminal (you could be 15 and on the sex offenders register for having sex with your gf)
  • danger to individual
  • whether the individual has obtained an injunction

etc etc

I saw a picture of someone in the newspaper today and it showed his address.

Gordon something or other, lives at "number 10" - they were vague on the street name though so I guess that gives them some privacy.

well to be very honest charlotte im no expert on this, its just that the news is my fave tv show, however i think printing pics of peado`s would do more good than bad.,

the public benefit in 2 ways.,

theres no mistaken identity

and the public know who to look out for,im about 99.99% sure that Pics yes, addresses NO.

im almost sure the data protection act falls into play too with addreses.

anyhow, back to this girl who ripped this guys testicle off,.

You gotta admit,. its a bad attack,

would a man who bit a womans breast off get the same sentence ?

So if you were accused of such a crime and you were completely innocent - you would be ok with people seeing who you were, just not where you lived?

It is pretty bad. Well, at least it was a few years ago. I think as Rosie pointed out in the original thread he'd have to rip out an ovary or something to get even. I'm sure it would hold a similar sentence. Do you think she got away lightly then? I mean, I know sexual assault cases often carry a low sentence. I'm not sure what your point is.

i like all the news charlotte,i dont normally read the sun cos i dont like seeing page 3 girls,. i think its sexist,i do read the mirror tho,and watch the news on as many channels as possible...however the sun is good for sensational clips like the amy winehouse one doing cack.

well they do actualy print your name in the papers anyway, before a case go`s to court - so it very almost go`s on just as you describe.

Then she would have been tried for attempted murder, it's all relative.

its not relative, she ripped his goolie off with her bare hands,

its a serious assault that could of ended in death.,relativity has nothing to do with it./

she got off with it.,how would you feel if it was your B/F she did it too or your brother ?

Its not about womens rights charlotte.

He is an actor, of course he will be in the paper.

How did you used to arrest people? Are you a policeman?

Again, I'm not sure what the hell your point is. The fact that I'm a woman has no relevance, only you brought up that fact. I'd feel the same way if the sexes were the other way round. And actually I really don't care all that much about the story.

How am I defending her? It's all a bit tongue in cheek, wouldn't you agree?

You seem to be caring an awful lot about a 3 year old story. Are you bored?

Im not bored charlotte but its you that keeps dragging this on,

the simple fact is she ripped the guys ball off and popped it in her mouth for a laugh -

and you seem to think that over stressing over this, i made a personal comment saying i think she should of been done for attempted murder and came out with "oh maybe he shouldve ripped one of her ovaries out" wtf ?

Its my personal opinion thats all, please dont underestimate how agonising it must of been for the bloke.

I don't know how you arresting people in HMV gives you inside knowledge as to whether criminals are shown in the paper before they go to court.

Are you saying that you arrested people and they went to prison - mostly shop lifting is just a fine isn't it?

We moved sooooo far off topic I have no idea what you're even talking about.
