Jamesy W
I had this problem last week with an A4 convertable, disconnecting the battery for 5 mins sorted it. Think its something to do with the ecu re-setting itself, but my technical knowledge is limited at best.

BASHTHEBISHOP
sounds like you may have hit the window lock button;) Its in with the other window controls on driver side door.
JustGav
Sounds like it could possibly be the alarm, one of the kill circuits could be ignition, but it is odd that the radio would work.

Jamesy W
I'm not sure mate to tell you the truth but its possible, just leave it disconnected for five then re-connect it. With a bit of luck it should be tickityboo.

JustGav
I'm going to hazard a guess that it will be in the driver's footwell cluster. If you take the cover off there is a diagram as to which one. It is just in front of the door near the accelerator.
