madmunky
Is anyone able to point it out from any of these pictures? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35925
Scooter
well its behind the crank pulley in the first picture......... IMO you need to get underneath and look under the alternator and then in towards the crank pulley/oil pump area............you should then see it easily....... i'm pretty sure the wiring from it attaches/dettaches from main engine loom around the alternator area too......... madmunky
Ok so I've checked the cable last night and cant see any issues with it, can anyone explain how i can check the wiring? (i have a multimeter)
Chris Wilson
Could be one of the two cam position sensors, too. it would then lose synch. They have two cam sensors so the engine need only do 1/2 a revolution before synching, for emissions purposes.
madmunky
I take it if it can read from these sensors then car wouldnt start? Ill try and check the G sensors tonight
