Havard
FYI there have been 14 OT threads updated on tumbleweed since Christmas, is that what we want? I don't understand the tumbleweed comment. Educate me Michael...... H.
michael
I don't understand the tumbleweed comment. Educate me Michael...... H. It looks as though only 14 threads have been updated or started in their OT section since Christmas, less than one a day in other words. Tricky-Ricky
What's the problem with football?? It's a great topic of conversation and creates many an opinion and lots of banter!! H. So does religion:innocent:

Blackie
Have you noticed, no matter what rubbish is posted we all end up having a conversation that normally turns out to be quite good
caliAl
Maybe it would be easier if you told us what topics we could discuss in the “Off Topic” section and maybe remove the ‘Chat about anything you like' description
AndrewOW
Is it just me, but the crappy nonsense threads that have been started over recent times seem to become more 'interesting' and 'compulsively' readable as everyone posts their 2p's worth saying how bad the original thread was?! Maybe if no one added to the thread, they will not go anywhere and could be deleted without the majority even noticing it was there in the first place! I've obviously now added my comments, and am thinking that someone is making quite a large sum out of all this tosh. Or not, as the case may be Just my 2p's worth

stupra
Perhaps the real problem is that people don't put enough info in the title of the thread or try to trick people into reading their dross? If they were more descriptive people could avoid them instead of getting worked up about things. Thats exactly the problem.
marbleapple
FYI there have been 14 OT threads updated on tumbleweed since Christmas, is that what we want? Sorry for being dumb but what is tumbleweed and is OT 'on topic' or 'off topic'? Either way only 14 threads suggests that tumbleweed is an appropriate name! AndrewOW
Andrew, thats what this says We both cant be wrong Bugger, and I'd thought I'd read the whole thread before posting that Whoops, apocalypse! I think its just the nature of the beast. People post, and then people post. Its all good irreverent and irrelevant fun anyway. Who really cares? Except Michael and Thorin etc, of course As long as crap advice doesn't appear in the technical sections, then I think we'll be alright
Blackie
As long as crap advice doesn't appear in the technical sections, then I think we'll be alright True, i know i am a random serial poster but as i know nothing technical i steer well away from the technical section. CJ
H.T.F did you get banned Col.... A bit of a long story but in a nutshell, I followed the advice of one of their mods (Alex off this forum) and posted up in the for sale section. The owner of the site (Martin F) took exception to this (despite me showing that his mod had told me to do it) and ranted and raved so I told him to feck off. He subsequently banned me. CJ
What was the forum like on a whole? It isn't called Tumblewed for nothing In all honesty there were some good guys there too but the owner (Martin F) was a complete nob. Dictatorial and self righteous in the extreme.
