Havard
I understand why that was stopped. The next one would have been called Gromit

DrivingTheDream
We have our second due in May and she is adament on Reece. I'm unsure but coming round to it as I cant think of anything else. We have one already, Ethan. Quite annoying as we had loads of girls names we liked. Make sure it goes with your surname name nicely and hope goes well

Ewen
I tried to remember the shortlist we came up with for our son... Callum Charlie Duggan (became his middle name) Harry (his grandfathers name) Jack Kyle (the one we went with. He likes it too.) Liam Ollie Rory Rowan

stupra
If my little girl had been a boy, we'd narrowed it down to Mitchell, Lincoln or Wade for not so common name's, or Max, George or Harry for traditional name's. Maybe she's lucky she's a girl .
Ewen
I remember the arguments we had over this, and thinking how a name could be shortened, or how a name would be read out at school registration, deliberately avoiding religeous names and so on. We finally registered his name within a few hours of the legal deadline as I remember, a tricky business so it is. So far, the worst thing thats happened with the name Kyle is his doctor calling for 'Kylie' in the surgery once. Oh, and a few eejits who think we named him after Clint Eastwoods son, or the guy out of The Terminator. Roxanna (daughter) is equally happy with her name, whether its Roxy or just Rox...theres even a range of clothes named after her.
Dave Haggas
Thanks for all the replys gang. This dilemma is ongoing. My late Father was called Harry and my wifes Father is called Daniel (he hasnt pegged it yet). Daniel isnt too bad only her old man would think we named him after him and that wouldnt do. My wife is from Cork, southern Ireland so a lot of Irish names have been mentioned. But My son is a Brit I tell her to stop taking the Mickey! She likes Arran, but I think it is a pikey name (no offence to any Arrans out there). She also likes Tristan. That name makes me think of George and Mildred. Bloody nightmare.... Rob
Oddly, the little boy who starred in tonights Lark Rise to Candleford is called ... Beans Balawi. He was a little blonde, white boy, almost "aryan" is appearance. What an odd name.
