drnas78
I have been speaking to king racer about HID kit for my import plastic face lift lights ( with blue angel eye rings) Can some one help and advise me what the best power hit bulb would be with kit i would like a nice medium blue all the time when lights are on instea dof a blue start but turning white after they warm up.. bareing in mind i have blue angel eyes, also i dont want it to0 blue because of the FEDS so a nice medium blue , Do you think it will interfere with angel eyes? choices are 6000k 8000k 1000k

Jake
4200k By the way, the xx00K is not the power. They're all the same power. 4200K are the brightest. 10000K are the gheyest
jamesmark
4200k He want's blue though Jake. :search:Dunno why.
tooquicktostop
Knight Racer I think the 6000 will be fine, I had the Angel Eye's from Jon on mine for a while, but it will not be visable when the HID's are on so it does not really matter, the Angels worked of the side lights so will not be effected if the set up is as mine was I used the Angels only for parked up showing off, no other real use IMO?? http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/1/1811470462.jpg

jamesmark
I went for 8000k for my first set of HID lights and they were blue, then I changed to 4300k and the difference was amazing. It did not make the car look like a chav mobile and the brightness was a lot better for driving and seeing further in the dark. 4300k vs 8000k
Thorin
Having fitted 6000K ones recently I'd say go for 4300K without a doubt.

Post # 7 4300k are white and are as Jake has said too the brightest. Even on 8000k yiou run the risk of getting pulled. If you must go for a blue tint I would go no more than 6000k. knight-racer
Any time mate, we've just setup a demo stand for the HID kits with a couple of display headlight units in our showroom so that might give you a good comparison when you pop in later

CarlT67
I have really got to get some of these, the oem lanterns don't really light the road.... What sort of cost are these kits....? Also are they just replacement bulbs or do you have to add some sort of resistor in series to the connection...?
