wez_p
anyone managed to specifically your mates online? only appears to let you join an existing lobby that you have no control over? and the server unavailable message seems to be a bit too frequent, presumably when they're busy
Soop Dogg
anyone managed to specifically your mates online? only appears to let you join an existing lobby that you have no control over? Just been having a look for news of this on GTPLanet. Apparently the 'private races' functionality is still in the pipeline. It wasn't ever going to be ready in time for the European release, but it'll be included in an update at some point - not sure when though. lockys96
Once you complete the A, B and C parts, when you go to a new race, immediately before actually racing, theres a option in the Quick Menu at the bottom of the screen with a spanner on it - this allows you to perform a 'quick tune'. ah i have done that now. the s class is well hard, the first race with a 430 detuned can only get 4th. its crap that you cant tune the car to the max, and have to detune just to be eligable to enter a race with 630points
Homer
I'm still really disapointed by Prologue, it's only going to be of interest to the die-hard fans who like online gaming. The full release isn't due until at least 1 year from now according to Polyphony.
grahamc
So ha anyone got a good steering wheel and pedal set for the PS3 yet? I am looking for one, specifically for this game. Hate using the controllers
Robzki
In contrast I love it!!, The missus bought me a ps3 and prologue for my b'day last friday :), Was a mega suprise, sure beats socks.... The car physics are absolutely amazing, its sub £20 in asda and well worth every penny. I have just seen that car damage is in the pipeline too as an update for prologue. that is about the only thing that has always let the game down. still the best racing sim available. They seem to have shaved a lot of the options that they will make available in gt5 but its gonna be a hell of a game. Rob
Soop Dogg
Updates are what will keep us all occupied between now and when the full version comes out next year. There's lots planned apparently according to a comment on the latest GT TV program. I guess that's the best bit about having the machine online. Hate using the controllers rumor has it the PC Logitec G25 wheel will work on the PS3 its not cheap but is the best wheel on the market. Each pedel has a differnt feel, ie the brake is hard to push the further down it is, the clutch is heavy and it comes with a 6 speed box

Rob Interesting as I haeard the car manufactures wont allow crh damage against their cars......big legal battle between Sony and the car makers I heard, thats why game like Paradise Burnout that have crash engines in them all the cars are non licenced cars ? Yep however they have pushed the release date back so maybe they are have turned a few. From what I have read 90% of the manufactures were happy for a damage model it was only a few that did not like the idea. My guess would be they have alreaded started work on it.
